"Cherie, This is really yummy, and can be made with all those nice ripe tomatoes we just plucked from the garden due to weather! It also goes great with a light grilled cheese sandwich..and even my 3-year loved the soup.
I used 1 quart fresh tomatoes and dried basil rather than fresh basil leaves -and just tasted as I added spices until it was JUST RIGHT. (don't forget to add Points to the tasting!)" Sherry R.
