56 oz tomato(es), 1 quart crushed fresh tomatoes or 2- 28 ounce cans
14 oz fat-free chicken broth (1 Can)
1 tsp dried basil, 18-20 basil leaves- or dry basil due to your taste
1 tsp sugar
1 cup(s) light whipping cream
1/2 cup(s) light butter
Remove the skin from the tomatoes before putting them in the kettle.
In large saucepan or kettle, bring tomatoes and broth to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add basil and sugar. Reduce to low heat, stir in cream and butter. Cook until butter is melted.
