These are the way my Grandma & Mom make them. You could use LIght Blue Bonnet to lower the Points.
12 servings, 4 Points each (about 1/2 cup)
1/4 C butter
4 large sweet potatoes
8 oz marshmallows
1/2 C unpacked brown sugar
Boil the sweet potatoes or yams until they are done - this takes about an hour. Then remove from heat, drain. Cover with cold water then remove the peelings. Slice & place in buttered casserole. Dot with butter, brown sugar & marshmallows. Bake in oven about an hour.
