1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz)can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tablespoons SPLENDA granular
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
In a medium saucepan sprayed with olive oil-flavored cooking spray, sauté onion, green pepper, and mushrooms for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, SPLENDA, and Italian seasoning.
Lower heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 4 (3/4 cups) CORE!
You can easily double or triple this recipe.
