These are the way my Grandma & Mom make them. You could use LIght Blue Bonnet to lower the PointsPlus values.
12 servings, 6 PointsPlus each (about 1/2 cup)
1/4 C butter
4 large sweet potatoes
8 oz marshmallows
1/2 C unpacked brown sugar
Boil the sweet potatoes or yams until they are done - this takes about an hour. Then remove from heat, drain. Cover with cold water then remove the peelings. Slice & place in buttered casserole. Dot with butter & brown sugar. Bake in oven about an hour - add marshmallows near the end.
