Soups: BASIL TOMATO SOUP - Thanks Sherry R. (Minot) PointsPlus
"Cherie, This is really yummy, and can be made with all those nice ripe tomatoes we just plucked from the garden due to weather! It also goes great with a light grilled cheese sandwich..and even my 3-year loved the soup.

I used 1 quart fresh tomatoes and dried basil rather than fresh basil leaves -and just tasted as I added spices until it was JUST RIGHT. (don't forget to add PointsPlus to the tasting!)" Sherry R.

*"I used dried basil, salt and pepper to change the taster of the soup to something my family liked the best. The soup is done once the taste is what you desire." Sherry R. (Minot)
