16 ounce dry split peas (30 Pts)
1 pound cooked lean ham, chopped (13.5 Pts)
10 C water (0 Pts)
1 tsp minced garlic (0 Pts)
10 medium baby carrots (.5 Pt)
onion (optional)

Empty the bag of peas into slow cooker & add one package of diced ham (I rinse mine), cut up some carrots if you want. I do about ten baby, add onion, add a little minced garlic and 8-10 cups water. Depending on how thick you want it the "first time", left overs will thicken a lot. Cook over night it will be ready for lunch. Or put in the morning, ready for suppertime.
